A Little History...
On what we do and how we got here.
Marc Slack - Founder & Managing Director
Building Cosmetic Services Ltd was formed some forty years ago to service the remedial needs of the construction industry.
Our range of skills include, the tinting/colouring of all forms of masonry, the cleaning and removal of both soluble and insoluble deposits from bricks and stone and finally the repair and re-facing of all types of brick and masonry.
It is testimony to the quality of our skills, that on a regular basis, we have been servicing the remedial needs of all the major manufactures and contractors for, some twenty years.
Nevertheless we regularly work for private individuals and smaller builders on extensions and refurbishment projects.
Additionally the services offered by this company are recognised by both the Brick Development Association (B.D.A) and British Ceramic Research Limited (B.C.R.L.).
We have been asked to act as adviser to the Crown Court when the use of remedial cosmetics has been recommended as a solution to a problem of colour variation in masonry and have additionally advised other courts within the EEC on similar matters.
All our personnel are directly employed and we can boast, that each of our key field employees have over twenty-five years experience in remedying problems of a cosmetic nature, with a number able to claim almost twenty years. Indeed, our founder Marc Slack, who still remains actively involved on a daily basis within the company, continues to resolve remedial problems to present.
We can therefore bring a wealth of experience to bear when confronted by the many differing aesthetic problems affecting the construction industry and as a consequence BCS Ltd has become the leading cosmetic remedial company in the U.K.
This website contains many before and after photographs of actual works completed by our teams throughout the UK. The improvements, in all cases, are marked, however please remember the photographs are taken whilst the works were actually being completed and so are not always of the quality of a 'posed' or 'set up' photo shoot. Nevertheless we believe the results are quite evident and speak for themselves.
